My heartiest congratulations to Amy Winehouse for having recovered in rehab and doing her first full live performance in UK. After all we all know how hard it is to quit a bad habit. But one bad habit these celebrities just can’t seem to quit is that of resorting to cheap stunts. Along with the likes of greats such as Neil Diamond and Jay-Z, Amy’s one-hour performance at Glastonbury attracted a 75,000 strong crowd to the Pyramid Stage. Popular as her music is, Amy was in full swing on the stage belting out chartbusters such as Cupid, Rehab and Tears Dry on their Own. Seeing that the crowds wanted more, Amy decided to do just that and jumped down into the security pit for her last two songs.

One is lead to believe that she desired greater interaction with the audience. However, this rendezvous went horribly wrong when one member of the audience rather then swing to her beats, ended up on the wrong end of a ‘swinger’ from her. Reportedly, Amy ‘punched’ a person in the audience claiming that he was trying to pull her hair. She continued with her performance after the altercation and did not seem at all perturbed. That’s great considering she wasn’t the one who got punched.

No complaint has been filed against her and the footage of the incident does not clearly show what provoked her. All I can say is if you don’t want people lunging at you don’t step down to meet them in the first place. What Amy was subjected to was typical crowd behavior. She should have known what to expect and not started a fist fight there.

Well for those of us who like to keep the glam quotient high when we go out, here’s just the thing-Gold plated jeans! Sounds ridiculous? Maybe if you compare it to the traditional uses gold is put to, it might be, but what the heck! If you can wear it as an accessory you can very well wear it as a snug pair of jeans. These gold plated jeans by Kohzo Denim are the latest edition to the designer line and are a must have for those who like to ‘keep-up’ with the times. So its goodbye to those sturdy Levi’s and welcome to the sparkling yellow Kohzo denims.

Keeping the designing as close to regular denim, the gold plated jeans come with the regular options you get in your ordinary denims like a button-fly, relaxed fit and even the much-in-demand five pocket style. The jeans are stone washed and de-stressed before being given their 18K finish. That’s one great finishing touch! And if you are still wondering whether they are the right choice for you, just imagine the envious looks you will get when you strut down the path wearing these. For all the young fashionistas out there, this will really put your fashion sense to the test. Team it with a white racer back and flip-flops and you are good to go out in the day. As for the night, this is a definite head turner in a crowded disco. Go subtle with your top and let your jeans do the talking.

These gold plated jeans are sure to add an extra touch of shimmer to your moves! But if you feel, it’s the look of ‘what the hell was she thinking? that you will attract, my advise-Stay Away! It takes guts to carry this Bling off!
